Crittenton is Planning a Magical Event This Spring

Everyone likes a little mystery and magic, and this spring, magic will be in the air with Crittenton Services, Inc.'s ninth annual Paint the Town Pink event this March.

With the theme - "Illusions in Pink" attendees can expect to be transported to a magical and mysterious place while right here in Wheeling.

Every year, Crittenton prides itself on creating a theme that goes above and beyond the previous year's festivities. Because it's the agency's largest fundraiser of the year, it is only fitting that the theme is as elaborate and inviting as events past.

"It's a beautiful night of wonderful food, entertainment and socialization that benefits the young women and families that Crittenton proudly serves, and has been serving for more than 116 years," said Kathy Szafran, CEO and President of Crittenton.

Illusions in Pink will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 31, at the Wheeling Artisan Center. For guests who purchase event tickets, they have the opportunity to also buy pre-party tickets for "The Smoke and Mirrors Cafe" which will be held in the Atrium section of the Wheeling Artisan Center beginning at 6 p.m. the night of the event.

Crittenton is proud to welcome back Chef Rocco Basil, who will be preparing the night's dinner, as well as the band, "Redline", which will provide the entertainment. The event will also include a silent auction with fabulous gift baskets filled with everything from weekend getaways to wine tastings to spa packages.

Raffle tickets are being sold at $5.00 each. The winner will receive a trip valued at $2,500 to see an illusionist in Las Vegas, thanks to WesBanco and Uniglobe Travel. Tickets for Paint the Town Pink are $95.00 each, and can be purchased by contacting Crittenton Services at (304) 242-7060. Ticket price includes appetizers, dinner, drinks and entertainment. All proceeds benefit the Crittenton Foundation.

The title sponsor for 2011 is the Christian Fellowship Foundation, who also generously supported the event in 2011. Nardone Chiropratic and Wellness is sponsoring Illusionist Tim Kutch of Pittsburgh, who will wow the crowd. Others sponsors currently include Ohio Valley Medical Center, Glessner and Associates, Paull Associates, The Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston, Riesbeck's Food Markets, Commonwealth Financial Service, and ScerIS. Our media sponsors are Clear Channel Radio, Comcast and WTRF. Additional sponsorship opportunities remain available.
